Registration and Enrolment
- Fee: 50 Euro per semester (non-refundable).
- Payment details: Bank transfer to Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Baden-Württembergische Bank AG Stuttgart, IBAN: DE71 6005 0101 7438 5087 68, BIC/SWIFT: SOLADEST600. For re-registration, state your auditor number. For first-time registration, state „Gasthörer*innenstudium“ and your full name.
- How to Register/Re-register:
- 1. Pay in person during office hours at the Student Services Office (Service Center Studium SCS, Sedanstr. 6, 79098 Freiburg) by card, or
- 2. Transfer the fee and submit proof of payment along with the registration form (filable PDF) by post or email (studierendenbuero@zv.uni-freiburg.de).
- A new application is only required for first-time registration or if your personal details change. For re-registration, payment of the fee is sufficient.
- Your guest student confirmation will be sent by post.
- Registration Periods: winter term: 1 June – 31 October, summer term: 15 January – 30 April. Note for re-registration: If you re-register before 20 March (summer term) or 20 September (winter term), your access to university platforms will remain uninterrupted.
Course Enrolement
- In the Course catalogue you can check whether your desired courses are available to visiting students (auditors) and in what format (online or in-person).
- Please enrol via the Campus Management System HISinOne (see instructions).
- Important note: Courses at the Language Teaching Institute (SLI) are subject to fees, with no discounts available for visiting students.
