Welcome to the Chair of International Economic Policy!
We teach and conduct research in the fields of international economic policy, development economics, (international) political economy, and, not least, the economics of terrorism and conflict. Our work is theory-driven, but we primarily employ empirical methods. The regions we study range from Southeast Asia (particularly Indonesia) to Latin America and Africa, as well as Russia and other successor states of the former CIS.
We invite you to explore our website to gain an impression of the questions that drive our research and the courses we offer.
We look forward to engaging in conversation with you!
