The Faculty of Economics and Behavioral Sciences of the University of Freiburg invites applications for a

Professorship (W 3) for Sport Science with a focus on Sport and Exercise Psychology
in the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education.
Fulltime position, Start-date: 01.04.2021

This professorship is also particularly suitable for highly qualified early career researchers.

The professor is responsible for the full representation of the field of sport psychology in research and teaching.

The professor is also expected to have a proven expertise in the field of health-related sports psychology. Excellent knowledge of empirical research methods and statistical procedures is required.

The professor is expected to teach sport psychology in the bachelor's and master's study programs in sport science.

Prerequisites for the employment of Professors are a university degree, pedagogic aptitude and an outstanding dissertation. Substantial achievements and experience in academic research and teaching, at the level of a Habilitation according to the German academic system, are expected.
