University of Freiburg Also Tops in European Comparison

In the current Excellence Ranking of the "Center for University Development" (CHE), the University of Freiburg ranks among the best universities in Europe in the fields psychology and economics. According to the CHE, psychology and economics "have a particularly strong research profile and international orientation in European comparison" in Freiburg.

The Department of Psychology of the University of Freiburg placed in the "excellence group" of the ranking due to the large amount of publications of its faculty members and the great mobility of its students. The Department of Economics also achieved excellence status due to high student mobility and the frequency with which its publications are cited.
